We are seeking a qualified Lecturer to join our team in the Department of Liberal Studies at California State University San Marcos. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching upper and lower division Liberal Studies courses in "Critical Education."

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Liberal Studies courses in "Critical Education"
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental goals
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decision-making
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in a related field
  • Experience teaching Liberal Studies courses
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A doctorate in a closely related field
  • Higher education experience teaching Liberal Studies courses
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and/or intercultural competence
