The company's product development team plays a crucial role in designing, validating, and bringing new products to market. This team is responsible for specifying precise product requirements, designing and testing components, and evaluating the overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety of products.

The Role

The Global Senior Analyst in Product Design is a key position responsible for developing, leading, and launching strategic products for disposers and accessories. This role will focus on channel-specific offerings and will be responsible for developing and managing channel differentiation. The successful candidate will own projects from inception to launch and work closely with all business functions to guarantee buy-in and delivery.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a 3-5 year product playbook in collaboration with the Director of Product, VP of Marketing, and global business leaders.
  2. Conduct market, competitor, customer, and consumer research to develop strategic, actionable insights for current and future projects.
  3. Support the development of insight-based strategy, design, and market requirement workshops to transform insights into projects.
  4. Lead product development projects from inception through launch in a defined stage gate process.
  5. Own the pipeline of product line extensions, channel-specific offerings, and continuous improvement projects, including prioritization, timing, and business impact.
  6. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and other business leaders to shepherd initiatives and projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, product development, engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  2. 3 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
  1. Advanced degree such as an MBA.
  2. Background in consumer-facing appliances or Consumer Packaged Goods.
  3. Ability to lead and work in cross-functional teams.
  4. Skills in leadership, initiative, creativity, problem-solving, analysis, and cross-functional communication.
  5. Proficiency in Google Chrome and/or Microsoft spreadsheets, word documents, and presentation materials.
  6. Strong project management skills, able to manage and prioritize a wide variety of project types that vary in timing, scope, and scale.
