Our organization is in search of a Senior Project Manager for a long-term contractual engagement. This hybrid position is designated for local candidates.

Responsibilities:

The selected contractor will:

  • Provide expert project management assistance to the Office of Project Management.
  • Supervise high-stakes and intricate information technology projects.
  • Implement project strategies and modify them as necessary to adapt to evolving needs and requirements.
  • Assess project objectives, risks, and limitations to identify the most suitable project management approach (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
  • Support stakeholders in pinpointing and documenting business challenges and project objectives through comprehensive business case development.
  • Facilitate effective communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making among diverse stakeholders while proactively eliminating obstacles.
  • Ensure that project requirements and goals are communicated clearly, providing teams with the essential information and resources to fulfill their tasks.
  • Comply with the established EPM governance framework.
  • Maintain accurate documentation reflecting any modifications to project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Translate and document conceptual customer needs into functional requirements and user stories in a clear and detailed manner.
  • Regularly update stakeholders and senior management on project progress and be prepared to respond to status inquiries promptly.
  • Guarantee that project outcomes meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Identify and address project risks and challenges, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:

The contractor must have a minimum of twelve (12) years of direct, hands-on experience in the information technology sector as a project or program manager, along with a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory at the time of application.
