As a global entity headquartered in Germany, Roehm maintains a structured IT framework that aligns with equipment, standards, applications, and service providers. All new IT initiatives will be assessed against our global standards and must pass through a thorough approval process. The successful candidate will collaborate with process engineers to explore innovative digital solutions, support demand generation, and present proposals for approval in accordance with established global protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the delivery of specified IT services for the new facilities.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with global, regional, and local strategies while providing guidance to the local team. Maintain service delivery within budget and timelines.
  • Manage and communicate local business requirements for new IT solutions; lead project implementations both regionally and globally.
  • Ensure IT solutions comply with security standards, processes, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with local business teams to establish and implement business continuity strategies.
  • Handle daily IT service support and operational tasks, including:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Configuration Management
    • Change Management
    • Release Management
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with global, regional, and local IT teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as a liaison with local IT teams, regional demand managers, service providers, and centralized service desks.
  • Ensure adherence to local, regional, and global guidelines and service processes.
  • Lead sessions for process optimization when necessary to enhance service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, IT groups, service providers, and vendors.
  • Work closely with manufacturing site leaders to identify IT needs and opportunities that align with business goals and enhance service quality.
  • Maintain a visible IT presence at the facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a computer-related field with over three years of experience in implementing new technologies through IT projects.
  • Proficient in Local Area and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) and wireless networks (WLAN).
  • Familiarity with MS Azure cloud services, M365, Teams telephony, and mobility technologies.
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, including AAD, DNS, DHCP, SSL, CISCO, and network security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with IT Service Management (incident, problem, change) and client relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in diverse teams.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • This position requires on-site presence for a significant portion of the training and stabilization period, with flexibility for remote work as needed.
  • Limited international travel and some domestic travel may be required after stabilization.
  • In line with global IT strategy, identify and lead projects that implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and service offerings.
  • Support the expansion of successful digital initiatives across global facilities.
  • Monitor external suppliers relevant to the role.
  • Share knowledge and provide training across various locations.
