Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
• Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort
• Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast
• Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
• Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records
• Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies
• Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
• Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong technical skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Minimum of two years of current Radiology Tech experience
• Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
• Active unencumbered Idaho Radiology Tech state license
• One year of Cerner experience
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
