Job Summary

Style Crest Enterprises Inc is seeking an experienced Heating and Cooling Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our HVAC installation and service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a variety of heating and cooling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling equipment, including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, etc.
  • Install new heating and cooling equipment, ensuring that all work is performed professionally, timely, and accurately.
  • Manage time proactively to ensure that scheduled jobs are completed each day.
  • Train and assist other service technicians and installers in troubleshooting and solving issues on the job.
  • Work with scheduling to understand the priority of jobs each day.
  • Ensure that the needed parts and tools are loaded on the truck for each day's activities.
  • Notify management of any issues with vehicles, equipment, or tools.
  • Keep assigned company vehicle clean and organized.
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of HVAC experience with a thorough understanding of installation, start-up, troubleshooting, repair, tools, and test instruments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Dependable and willing to learn new tasks, with a strong team player attitude.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with customers and co-workers.
  • Willingness to work on-call and overtime hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
