Student Board Member Opportunity

Albright College is seeking highly motivated and dedicated students to join our Student Board as AC2 Student Board Members. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience while making a difference on campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend weekly Executive Board meetings to discuss campus events and programming.
  • Plan and execute campus events each semester, working collaboratively with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Secure funding through the Student Government Association to support event initiatives.
  • Set up, run, and clean up all AC2 events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees.
  • Submit all event details onto aLink, our online event management system.
  • Manage the AC2 Instagram and email accounts, promoting events and engaging with the student body.
Requirements:
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Skills in time-management and organization, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as confidentiality and discretion regarding departmental matters.
  • Attention to detail and a basic understanding of the Albright Student Government Manual as it relates to club standing and operations.
  • General knowledge of ALink and experience with event creation and form submissions.
  • Creativity in program creation, problem-solving, and designing materials.
