About the Role:

The Infection Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and infection control within our hospital environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient care and outcomes related to healthcare-associated infections;
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for improving infection control practices;
  • Monitor employee compliance with infection prevention measures;
  • Develop and present educational programs for staff on infection control best practices;
  • Serve as a resource to all departments and personnel on infection control matters;
  • Implement programs to protect healthcare workers, visitors, and others from infection risks.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Certification in Infection Control and Prevention (CIC) is desired;
  • Professional membership in APIC.

Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
