i9 Sports is seeking a part-time Flag Football Referee for our Chamblee location. This role involves assisting in running our youth co-ed rec league (ages 4-14) and officiating games. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flag football fundamentals and be able to relate to and instruct players ages 4-12.
Responsibilities:- Understand and follow the i9 Sports rule book to ensure a fun and safe experience for all players.
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship.
- Keep time and score during the game, manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
- Set up and break down field equipment.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
- Some football playing, officiating, or coaching experience required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to be a role model for athletes.
- Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
- Ability to work Sunday afternoons (for the full duration of the season, 6 weeks).
- All employees and volunteers must complete a national criminal background check.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
