Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Glenview, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as specified by a physician.
  • Assist radiologists in performing fluoroscopic examinations and mini-special procedures in the fluoroscopic suites.
  • Determine appropriate exposure factors and position patients using immobilization devices to ensure optimum film quality.
  • Adhere to department standards of radiographic quality and report environmental/equipment problems to appropriate personnel.
  • Consistently maintain a professional attitude and interact positively with co-workers, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Maintain a safe environment based on age and developmental status, and assist with proper positioning and restraining of children and elderly patients as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent experience.
  • ARRT Registered or registry eligible, IDNS Licensed, and Current CPR Certification.
  • Good communication skills and basic understanding of R.I.S. and computer knowledge.
