Psychiatrist Opportunity at Southcoast Behavioral Health

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Southcoast Behavioral Health, a 192-bed inpatient hospital in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Our facility provides exceptional psychiatric care to patients from across the region, and we are committed to delivering high-quality services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in psychiatric care.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • Board certification in psychiatry and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility operates.
