Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Equipment Maintenance Professional to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

In this critical role, you will diagnose complex issues, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document all repair orders. You will work closely with our maintenance team and drivers to ensure a safe and well-maintained fleet.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Diagnose complex issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Document repair orders and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with maintenance team and drivers to ensure a safe and well-maintained fleet

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of verifiable hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic
  • CDL A and DOT certified (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate in English and adapt to changing organizational needs

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate ($28-$33/hour depending on experience)
