About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at ABM Industries. As a School Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students, teachers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, remove debris, and mop floors in designated areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain recycling programs
  • Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely and effectively
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and management
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience
  • One year of prior similar work experience
