BDR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to support the routine functions of the HR department. This role will be responsible for providing support in functional areas of human resources, including employment, employment records, employee relations, performance reviews, benefits, training, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the organization's human resource strategy, particularly as it relates to talent management, retention, and employee engagement.
- Provide support in functional areas of human resources, including but not limited to employment, employment records, employee relations, performance reviews, benefits, training, and special projects.
- Assist with the day-to-day delivery of HR functions for employees, including HR inbox monitoring, onboarding, performance management, and partnering with the HR Manager for people manager matters.
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefits to provide consultation and problem resolution.
- Provide support to employees on questions and issues that arise, administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Drive learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Partner in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and execute investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes, and employment law.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum three years of HR Generalist experience required; 5+ years a plus.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
- HR experience within Government Contracting strongly preferred.
- Experience with Rippling a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS.
- Ability to attend meetings in person throughout the year at least 2-3 times per year.
