**Mission Critical Role:** Waymo's Compute Team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced ML Compiler Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, with a focus on compiler design, parallel computing, and machine learning inference.

As an ML Compiler Engineer at Waymo, you will be responsible for maximizing the performance of our neural networks by enhancing and extending our production-grade compiler. You will work closely with hardware architects and model developers to develop a deep understanding of our unique neural network inference platform and neural networks.

**What We're Looking For:

  • BS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience and 3+ years of industry experience OR
  • MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering and 1+ years of industry experience OR
  • PhD Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
  • 1+ years of industry and/or academic experience with compilers and parallel computing
  • 1+ years of industry and/or academic experience working with ML inference or linear algebra computations
  • C++ programming skills

We offer a competitive salary range of **$158,000 - $200,000 USD** per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes a discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
