About the Role

This is a full-time Sales Associate position at US Foods, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the company's products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure all customers have an impeccable shopping experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers.
  • Sales and Cash Functions: Perform sales and cash functions in the point of sale (POS) system, including scanning merchandise, weighing product, and looking up products that will not scan.
  • Front End Operations: Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout, including a visual inspection to look for product tampering.
  • Sales Floor and Stocking: Ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage, work with customers to find products, and assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves.
  • Customer Courtesy: Ensure the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers, notify store management of any safety issues, and ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Skills: Must possess the desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service, adaptability, and willingness to assist other employees, basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
