Pet Host Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Pet Host at PetSuites Resort. As a Pet Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our pet parents and their furry friends.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide impeccable customer service by following our service foundation and ensuring that each customer is treated with respect and dignity.
- Communication: Answer all incoming calls, respond to voicemails and emails, and communicate closely with other staff to ensure client and pet needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
- Reservations and Transactions: Make boarding reservations, book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments, and manage cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Pet Care: Get to know clients and their pet's names on a regular basis, obtain all information related to a pet's visit, and ensure accuracy of all information.
- Teamwork: Interact and communicate closely with other staff to ensure client and pet needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
Requirements:
- Animal Lover: A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats.
- Customer Service: Ability to take care of customers' needs while following company procedures.
- Communication: Ability to communicate directly with clients, both written and orally, about their dog.
- Teamwork: Good team work and willingness to assist other departments as necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially where documentation is concerned.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Environmental Factors: Ability to work in temperature extremes, work outside, or in distracting work environments such as loud noise/sound.
