Summary: Responsible for the performance, scoring, and analysis of sleep studies, including Polysomnograms, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests.
Type of Opportunity: Per Required Need
FTE: Exempt: No
Work Schedule: 12 Hour Nights
Other Information: High School diploma plus completion of a trade or vocational program or equivalent on-the-job training in Clinical Polysomnography. Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) credential is mandatory. A minimum of 18 months of experience in Clinical Polysomnography is preferred, and BLS certification is required. A New Mexico Polysomnography or Respiratory Care license is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties associated with Polysomnographic Technician roles.
- Score and analyze sleep studies.
- Assist in the development and revision of policies and procedures for the Sleep Center.
- Communicate effectively with Sleep Center physicians regarding patient care and testing procedures.
- Support the training of Polysomnographic Trainees and Technicians, including oversight of their testing performance.
- Participate in Quality Monitoring initiatives.
- Assist with patient compliance programs, including follow-up communications as necessary.
- Attend in-services and meetings as required.
