Overview

This role is compensated based on a 12-month contract. The office will be located at the Richmond campus, with expectations for travel as necessary. Teaching locations and schedules may vary throughout employment to align with departmental needs and promote student achievement.

The primary duty of a faculty member is to deliver the highest quality instruction in their field. Oversight will be provided by the designated supervisor. The instructor is responsible for ensuring that their teaching effectively addresses the educational requirements of students.

Qualifications

This position mandates a Paramedic Certificate and an Associate's Degree (in any field), along with 36 months of full-time professional experience. Candidates must possess an unencumbered Texas Paramedic License or Texas Paramedic Certification, in addition to a current Texas Instructor Certification for EMS. A criminal background check is a prerequisite.

To qualify for this position, applicants must submit the following documents with their online application:
  1. College transcript(s) verifying completion of a paramedic certificate and associate degree in EMS or any discipline.
  2. Resume or CV detailing work and/or teaching experience in the EMS and/or healthcare sector.
  3. Unencumbered Texas paramedic license or Texas paramedic certification.
