The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, evaluate, and treat patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect patients' age, situation, and discharge plan.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including education, direct and indirect treatment, and supervision of support personnel.
  • Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
