About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT equipment, utilizing your technical expertise to produce high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain your expertise.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required; 2-year/Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • One year experience in CT, preferred.
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient.
  • Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age-specific needs.
