Salary: $62,500 - $82,000 per year


Job Description:

The Nourishment Specialist - Healthcare Team works closely with the Dietary Manager and Administrator to allocate resources efficiently and economically. Each resident receives a nourishing, palatable, well-balanced diet to meet their daily nutritional and special dietary needs.


This role conducts patient assessments, creates care plans, and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team. They ensure nutrition recommendations are properly implemented and perform pre-survey inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.


Responsibilities include completing clinical documentation, interviewing patient/family members to accommodate residents' preferences and individual needs, and collaborating with the Dietary Manager to consolidate diet orders.


The Nourishment Specialist - Healthcare Team works with the interdisciplinary team, conducts regular meal observations, and records reviews. They also conduct quality assurance compliance rounds and hire staff in collaboration with the Dietary Manager.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • 1-2 years of professional healthcare experience
  • Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
