Job Summary:

CareNow urgent care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality radiology services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
  • Conduct quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Process specimens for reference laboratories, perform drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent to other labs.
  • Ensure occupational clients' preference cards are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist with general patient care as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
  • Current ARRT license is mandatory.
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license if required by the state.
  • The ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
