Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver (Non-CDL) / Laborer to join our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in Lafayette, Indiana. As a Driver (Non-CDL) / Laborer, you will be responsible for safely driving and maneuvering various sized vehicles, as well as providing exceptional customer service and completing paperwork and payment collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the premises
  • Provide exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customers' belongings
  • Work with a team of movers to load and unload moving trucks
  • Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection
  • Safely drive and maneuver various sized vehicles up to a 26-foot box truck
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance restrictions
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
  • Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor, loading, unloading, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly, or warehouse helpful
