Job Title: Process Technician

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Technician to join our team at Synthomer. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical processes to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all plant safety requirements and participate in activities to continuously improve safety performance.
  • Process Operations: Monitor reactive chemical processes via computer control systems and visual observation of data, troubleshoot and report processing issues using collected data.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly, identify and report any malfunctions or defects.
  • Quality Control: Sample batches, in process and finished product, and adjust batch upon quality control advice.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control processes including cycle counting, verify raw material availability and restock plant supply as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Good math skills, ability to wear safety equipment as required, ability to obtain a forklift license within 14 days of employment.
