Adecco US, Inc. is Hiring a Powder CoaterWe are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team at our sheet metal fabricating plant. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coating finishes to metal parts in an automated and/or manual electrostatic powder coating booth.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare metal parts for powder coating by applying masking tape, rubber plugs & caps to parts, hardware and holes.
- Load and Unload Powder Coating Conveyor Line of sheet metal fabricated parts.
- Apply powder coating finish to metal parts in an automated and/or manual electrostatic powder coating booth.
- Produce the maximum number of coated parts in minimum time by working efficiently.
- Use correct powder per customer specification – ability to read basic blueprint is helpful.
- Monitor quality during production.
- Keep production records. Daily record of parts, colors used, maintenance performed, and any problems occurring and addressed.
- Maintain equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions; complete preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.
- Identify, count, and label parts.
- Package finished parts for shipping.
- Have a complete working knowledge of proper powder spraying techniques.
- Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and vendors as needed.
- Be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Have Corrected 20/20 vision, be able to identify color and texture.
- Be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
- Be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant.
- Be able to pass general, physical, and respirator medical evaluation.
- Pay rates starting at $16-$20 per hour based off experience.
- Weekly Pay – you receive a paycheck every week.
