7/70 B week
1:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
6:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Sat and Sun)

Position Overview: This role involves conducting MRI examinations under the supervision of a radiologist and guidance from a senior MRI Technologist. The MRI Technologist will collaborate with imaging personnel, nursing staff, physicians, patients, and visitors. This individual serves as a knowledgeable resource for MRI technical matters and adheres to established protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities include operating MRI machinery, preparing the scanning environment, and managing equipment, supplies, and medications. Additionally, this role involves maintaining patient images and associated data archives, along with other assigned tasks.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of one to three years of relevant experience is preferred.

Educational Qualifications: Completion of a JCERT accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or MRI is mandatory. A two- or four-year degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred.

Training Specifications: Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy course is required.

Special Skills: Proficiency in IV insertion and contrast administration is essential; the ability to integrate new procedures into daily practice is also required.

Licensure Requirements: ARRT registration is mandatory. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR must be obtained within 18 months of employment. BCLS certification is required within 90 days of hire. A State of WI license in Radiologic Technology is necessary if the incumbent performs CT, general radiography, or any imaging utilizing ionizing radiation; if the practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required.
