Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseloads in a school-based setting
  • Document and monitor students' progress, analyzing and reporting findings regularly
  • Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs)
  • Write educationally relevant therapy goals and student information background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs)
  • Attend IEP and ETR meetings, presenting evaluation findings and therapy recommendations in a family-friendly language
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Proficiency in English; reading, comprehending, and understanding the English language
  • Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
  • Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
  • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body
  • Positive attitude, willingness to accept new assignments, and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices
