About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at HealthCARE Express. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight
  • Insert saline locks and perform basic and advanced cardiac life support
  • Apply sterile dressings, remove sutures or staples, and assist with pelvic examinations
  • Perform EKGs, cleanse and irrigate wounds, and administer oral medications
  • Apply splints, initiate routine lab tests, and swab mucous membranes for culture specimens
  • Administer and read TB skin tests, perform venipuncture, and administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal medications
  • Remain flexible for cross-training and take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
  • Observe, identify, and take action to move the organization forward in a way that best represents our values
Work Environment

We are a fast-paced healthcare environment that requires applicants to be capable of multi-tasking and high attention to detail. This position requires a great deal of patience and a caring heart. Must be comfortable on computers with excellent customer service skills and the ability to be thorough, courteous, and prioritize tasks.
