Job Summary

We're looking for a Senior Design Engineer - Software to join our team at our Innovation and Technology Center in Mount Pleasant, WI. As a key member of our team, you'll design and write software and firmware to support our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and write software and firmware in applicable languages to support TDI products.
  • Coordinate software development with electronic hardware design.
  • Write supporting software documentation.
  • Maintain software and documentation under a revision control system.
  • Evaluate software deviation and change requests.
  • Work with R&D to develop controls for TDI products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest control developments.
  • Develop system models to aid in analysis and control development.
  • Introduce new technologies to the testing and application of TDI products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded control system development.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic experience in the use of editors and compilers.
  • Basic experience in the use of revision control software.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and listening skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to guide and train other departmental personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems and standard software languages.
  • Skilled in programming embedded software applications.
  • Ability to coordinate the design and development of new products.
  • Skilled in software debugging and troubleshooting.
