Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Monett, MO. This full-time position involves assessing and treating students with speech and language disorders, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students' communication and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress to ensure effective communication and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of services provided to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Missouri state SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
