The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Practitioner Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Supportive Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing supportive assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medication and treatments in accordance with Illinois Administrative Rule 116 and The Arc's policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation of individual care and services provided, adhering to Illinois Administrative Rule 116 and The Arc's guidelines.
- Deliver instruction and healthcare services to individuals, either individually or in small groups, following The Arc's established guidelines.
- Assess individuals and maintain necessary data documentation, adhering to prescribed guidelines.
- Participate in individual staffing and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings as required.
- Provide supervision and ongoing assistance in the personal and social development of individuals served by The Arc.
- Engage with individuals, support their growth, and foster their independence.
- Participate in house meetings and in-service training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will be a team player, committed to providing high-quality care and services that align with The Arc's mission and values.
