Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive clinical team, providing quality services to children in school-based settings.

Responsibilities
  • Providing quality speech therapy services to children in school-based settings
  • Keeping and maintaining accurate records and documents for each session
  • Monitoring and tracking progress, and providing support on IEP goals
  • Proficiently and professionally documenting services rendered on a timely basis
  • Completing ongoing communication assessments and reviewing existing data to review child's progress
  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguards related to speech therapy
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • New York State licensure in Speech and Language Pathology
  • TSHH or TSSLD certification for preschool and school-age services
  • Cannot be a current DOE employee, but can be considered if at least 1 year and 1 day out
