Job Summary:
The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the Screening Program Director and Assistant Clinical Director in the administration of a 24-hour operation.
The Supervisor serves as the outreach liaison for all community agencies, exercising supervisory authority and independent judgment in assigning employee labor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as liaison to community agencies, law enforcement, and patient families to effect outreach within the geographic area of Monmouth County.
- Participates in providing annual community-based education to Monmouth County agencies.
- Provides direct patient care on-site and off-site during high volume.
- Responsible for supervision of mobile practicum for designated Screening Centers.
- Supervises the triage of in-coming clients to maintain timely flow of patients from Emergency Department to PESS.
- Assigns cases to staff members as appropriate.
- Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for patients based upon the team assessment.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical field.
- Certified Mental Health Screener or previous experience to be immediately eligible for Screening Certification.
- BLS through the American Heart Association.
- Valid NJ Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience.
