We are a leading national substance abuse organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and clinical expertise. Our Intensive Outpatient Counseling program is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a skilled Evening Counselor to join our team.
Evening Counselor / Therapist Duties
- Conduct new patient intake and orientation sessions
- Facilitate orientation groups with patients
- Lead group sessions for all patients
- Address patient concerns and help prevent premature discharge
- Provide case management and documentation in patient medical records
Requirements
- New Jersey LSW or LCSW or LAC or LPC license, clean and active
- Minimum one-year experience in substance abuse field
- Experience conducting group sessions
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing situations
