About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ThedaCare. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and function.
  • Therapy Implementation: Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, modalities, and education, to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and evidence-based research in physical therapy to continuously improve patient outcomes and professional skills.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of physical therapy and licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Certifications and Training: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of any required training programs.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
