Ascension Sacred Heart is seeking a qualified and dedicated Pediatric Otolaryngologist to enhance our esteemed Pediatric Otolaryngology Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized medical care to young patients in a supportive and advanced healthcare environment.
Key Details
- Specialty: Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Work Schedule: Full-time clinic hours (Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off) and participation in call rotations as agreed upon with fellow practitioners.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Assess and manage patients with appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of patient care.
- Accept referrals from other healthcare providers and serve as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician as necessary.
- Participate in educational programs and research activities as requested.
- Ensure accurate documentation to meet insurance requirements and address any denials promptly.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty care, including on-call duties.
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification:
- Must possess a valid MD/DO license from the Florida Board of Medicine prior to the start date. Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty is required.
- Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred.
Education:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or equivalent degree is required.
