Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all contractual obligations of assigned projects, ensuring that field and support staff are adequately resourced and meet project deadlines.
  • Control financial aspects of project contracts, including procurement of materials, change order management, and budget analysis to ensure projects remain financially viable.
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of project materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and various departments to facilitate project milestones and successful completion.
  • Prepare comprehensive project estimates for small to medium-sized jobs under the guidance of senior project managers.
  • Develop and monitor project objectives, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with company policies.
  • Prepare and present monthly progress reports to senior management as required.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of construction contract language and electrical design principles.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry practices, standards, and their implications on project execution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CONEST estimating software is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Accountability

  • Work closely with field Superintendents to ensure project personnel meet performance expectations.
