Job Summary

RadNet Orange County is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Guide patients through the scanning process, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during scans and take appropriate action if necessary.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient property and patient health information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
