We are seeking a Lead Power Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex electrical power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems design and development. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test electrical power systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of electrical power systems, including high voltage transmission lines, substations, and distribution networks
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate hardware and software components
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and installation instructions
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems design and development
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic theory, and power electronics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
