Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art hospital in the Tri-State area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan patient care for patients requiring invasive procedures
  • Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and condition during the intraoperative phase
  • Communicate patient condition to the care team, surgeon, anesthesia, and family as appropriate
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
  • Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
  • Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols
  • Monitor the sterile field and surgical environment to prevent infection
  • Follow Universal Protocol and participate in time out as part of patient safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school
  • Current Arizona Registered Nurse license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
  • ACLS certification required upon hire
  • At least 1 year experience as RN Cath Lab
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • NIH stroke certification preferred
