Job Description

Empower AI is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and protocols to ensure the security and integrity of our information systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for overseeing the security protocol for computers, computer networks, and databases, and ensuring that all information systems are secure and functioning as required to prevent cybersecurity breaches.

You will also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to internal and external organizations to ensure maximum cybersecurity efforts. This includes providing recommendations to the government and leading the initiative for security best practices.

The successful candidate will possess a current IAM Level II certification and an active DOD Secret Clearance. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and protocols
  • Oversee the security protocol for computers, computer networks, and databases
  • Ensure that all information systems are secure and functioning as required to prevent cybersecurity breaches
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal and external organizations to ensure maximum cybersecurity efforts
  • Provide recommendations to the government and lead the initiative for security best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity
