Soliant is in search of a committed Certified School Nurse to fill a full-time role. The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to the health and wellness of students, possessing experience in delivering extensive health services within an academic environment.

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver direct medical care to students, including first aid, emergency interventions, and management of ongoing health issues.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with district guidelines.
  • Perform health evaluations and screenings, such as vision, hearing, and scoliosis assessments.
  • Formulate and execute individualized health care plans (IHPs) tailored to students with particular health requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and health professionals to enhance student health and academic achievement.
  • Maintain precise and confidential health records for students.
  • Provide education to students, staff, and parents on health-related matters, fostering a healthy school atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience in a school environment or pediatric nursing.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Understanding of state and federal health regulations pertinent to educational institutions.
