Job Summary

SRP is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of vehicles and equipment used to perform all work associated with loading/unloading and pick-up/delivery of materials/equipment used in the course of construction, maintenance and operation of SRP's water and electric systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate classified vehicles to facilitate the transport and delivery of materials, supplies, machinery and equipment of all shapes and sizes.
  • Assist others as required in the construction, maintenance and operation of electrical, water or other related company facilities.
  • Document and report maintenance requirements and equipment deficiencies.
  • Perform and document daily pre-trip and post operation inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment as required by DOT and Project rules and regulations to assure proper and safe operating conditions.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have satisfactorily completed the SRP driver's training program and/or passed the SRP Truck Driver Test.
  • Experience as a Truckdriver, Equipment Operator, or Utilityman or equivalent experience.
  • Must possess a valid Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
