We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at DCS Corp. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Construct and assemble components, subunits, and simple models using standard equipment and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions.
- Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems, making adjustments as needed.
- Compile and analyze data related to mechanical systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for modifications.
- Assist in the design and development of new mechanical systems, providing input on specifications and materials.
- High school diploma and at least four (4) years of practical experience in a related field, such as laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
- Experience working with mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or technical studies.
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical tools.
- Certification in a related field, such as HVAC or electrical systems.
