Job Overview

Automotive Service Technician – Subaru

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our clients' vehicles. Our workshop is renowned for its integrity and high standards, and we are looking for dedicated technicians who share our commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues and executing repairs on both client and dealership vehicles, all while fostering positive relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles
  • Collaborate with the shop foreman or service advisor regarding repair needs
  • Communicate any additional service requirements to the service advisor
  • Plan and execute work procedures in conjunction with the shop foreman
  • Provide accurate labor time estimates to the service advisor
  • Track repair time and keep the service advisor updated
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle maintenance and operations
  • Document all client repairs and service history
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
  • Participate in ongoing company and manufacturer training programs
  • Stay informed on the latest factory technical bulletins
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1 to 3 months of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Operator Driver License

State Inspection License
