Job Summary:

The Electrical Submersible Pump Specialist will focus on the operation of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and is required to have a minimum of three years of experience in the operation and maintenance of these systems. A solid understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) is also essential. This role encompasses the installation, initiation, and troubleshooting of ESPs, functioning as a Field Specialist.

Essential Duties:
  • Responsible for the installation, initiation, and troubleshooting of ESP systems.
  • Implement new and ongoing field procedures.
  • Follow established work instructions and checklists to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and procedural changes.
  • Monitor the operation of ESP systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and rig personnel on-site.
  • Engage with the Field Service team to share knowledge and experiences.
  • Apply lessons learned regarding safety and installation practices.
  • Complete detailed documentation of on-site activities and equipment.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of experience as an ESP Field Specialist.
  • Knowledge of ESP systems, VFD/VSD, and switchboard configurations.
  • Experience with VSD troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Understanding of SCADA wiring and both analog and digital instrumentation.
  • Proficient in computer usage and documentation.
  • Perform service-related tasks.
  • Prepare field deliverables.
  • Manage resources effectively.
  • Document and archive final job deliverables.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for job invoicing.
