About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Product Marketing expert to join our team at Dataminr. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will work closely with our Product and Sales teams to develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy for our cutting-edge cybersecurity products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of our Pulse for Cyber Risk solution and effectively communicate its unique value proposition to our target audience.
  • Capture and understand the market needs and core use cases of our customers, and communicate those needs to our product, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Conduct market and competitive research, and provide recommendations on our product vision, strategy, naming, and brand positioning.
  • Work closely with product and sales teams to craft engaging written and visual digital content that supports the customer's journey.
  • Be the keynote speaker for Cyber Product Marketing at key industry and company-wide events.
  • Track content engagement and product adoption metrics to ensure we achieve high levels of engagement/adoption/success.
  • Build our product marketing team around you as the business grows.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MBA is desired but not required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing and 2-5 years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the cybersecurity market and how multiple cybersecurity tools can be leveraged to detect, monitor, and respond to external risks.
  • Experience in product positioning and messaging, with proven success at planning and executing GTM activities to increase sales conversion for technical software solutions.
  • Ability to understand complex technologies (AI, machine learning, security), their unique value proposition, and how to communicate that in a compelling way.
  • Ability to listen, communicate, understand and prioritize your work.
