Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Infirmary Health. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples from patients for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from patients using phlebotomy techniques and equipment.
  • Label and process samples for laboratory testing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of samples to the laboratory.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Working knowledge of hospital phlebotomy and ASPT or PT(ASCP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy or medical assistant program.
