The Ophthalmology Department is a well-established and dynamic practice that caters to a diverse patient population. Our team comprises board-certified physicians with extensive experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate independently while maintaining a strong partnership with a local tertiary care facility that offers comprehensive ophthalmology services.
  • Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists, clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as advanced practice clinicians and optometrists.
  • Engage in comprehensive ophthalmology practices alongside fellowship-trained specialists in areas such as cornea, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and reconstructive surgery.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology, including Femto-second laser-assisted cataract surgery, and have access to an off-site laser suite for Lasik procedures.
  • Gain privileges at multiple surgical centers and community hospitals, with access to various surgical suites.
  • Leverage a robust in-house diagnostic testing facility.

Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland or in the process of obtaining.
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
  • Active DEA License or ability to secure one prior to employment.
